Tyre Recycling

The UK reprocessed 479,000 tonnes of waste tyre materials in 2009, according to the European Tyre & Rubber Manufacturers' Association (ETRMA), only Germany, which has approximately 30% more vehicles than the UK, recycled more tyres in 2009 with 571,000 tonnes.

With three American manufactured SSI shredding and chipping machines on-site, R3nergy’s tyre recycling agents are able to process up to 1000 tonnes of car, truck and agricultural tyres per week. All of our end product fulfils a variety of recycling and energy recovery purposes such as conversion into tyre derived fuel and use in civil engineering.

Tyre bales conforming to the PAS 108 standard are made on-site with our two automatic baling machines. The produced bales ultimately go to support civil engineering projects as a replacement for aggregate; they may be transported easily and are far less costly to the environment as a drainage solution.

Please call us to discuss first our collection charges; otherwise we will assume that you are well-aware of our pricing scheme. For larger loads there may be some discount applied to your bill so don't hesitate to let us know the volume of tyres you require us to remove from your premises.

Prices vary locally for tyre recycling although can be as low as:

£10 - for a car tyre

£12 - 4 x 4 Tyre

£20 - 7.5 Tonne Arctic type

£35 - Front Tractor Trailer

£80 - Rear Tractor Tyre.
